The B-Kings is a street gang featured in Yakuza/Yakuza Kiwami.

History[]

The B-Kings are a small group of thugs, led by Keisuke Baba, that extort money from pedestrians on the streets and, like most Kamurocho street gangs, do small time dirty work for various Tojo Clan families; in their case primarily the Atobe Family. The gangs members enjoy playing baseball and frequently hang out at the Yoshida Batting Center.

Yakuza[]

In 2005, one of the gang's members, Takashi, began dating Kyoka Atobe, the daughter of the Atobe Family patriarch; whom the B-Kings frequently worked for. Since Kyoka's father did not approve of their relationship, the pair decided to elope together and get married against Patriarch Atobe's wishes. In order to facilitate this, Kyoka stole money from her father's crime family. Desperate to find his daughter and his money, Patriarch Atobe sent out as many men as he could to prowl the streets of Tokyo in search of the pair, including the B-Kings.

Baba and a group of his thugs managed to find Takashi at the gang's favorite hangout, the Yoshida Batting Center, and tried to take him captive. Unfortunately for them, Kazuma Kiryu was present at the time and; since Takashi was the son of the Florist of Sai whom Kiryu owed a favor, the yakuza intervened and beat the B-Kings in a fight to protect Takashi.

Later on, Kiryu would run into Baba and some other members of the B-Kings again in Theater Square, where they were being extorted for cash by some yakuza. Feeling bad over having beaten them before, Kiryu stepped in and helped Baba and his boys fend off the men threatening them. After the assist, Baba swallowed some of his pride and thanked Kiryu for helping his crew.

Yakuza 4[]

In 2010, Kiryu would run into Keisuke Baba at the Yoshida Batting Center once again. There, the former B-Kings' leader would reveal that he left the gang years prior to pursue a professional career as a baseball player. According to him, the gang disbanded not too long after his departure.
