Bryce Fairchild (ブライス・フェアチャイルド, Buraisu Feachairudo) is the overarching antagonist of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. He is the Sage of Palekana and founder/former proprietor of Madlantis. To conceal his status in the underworld of Hawaii, his allies refer to him as the "Overseer" (オーナー, Ōnā, "Owner").
Profile[]
Appearance[]
According to Wong Tou, Bryce's appearance hasn't changed since around 1993. He consumed ambergris to retain good physical shape and health.
Background[]
Bryce was a member of an unnamed mafia. Around 1953, he worked with a hitman to assassinate the current Palekana Sage and his wife, who were of the Mililani family, in order to steal the Palekana pendant. After the hit, he took the pendant, believing it to be real, killed the hitman, and became the new Sage of Palekana.
Over the years, he assassinated members of the Mililani lineage to keep his illegitimately obtained role as Sage a secret.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth: 2023[]
Bryce is called over by Akane to look into a pendant nearly identical to the Palekana pendant, owned by a ten-year-old girl named Lani. He realizes the pendant is the authentic Palekana pendant, and that Lani is the last living member of the Mililani lineage.
Akane and Lani go into hiding, causing Bryce to enlist the help of Wong Tou and Dwight Méndez to find them.
Fighting Style[]
Fairchild relies heavily on his Palekana underlings in battle, only engaging personally when forced to. He has no experience in hand-to-hand combat whatsoever; thus, he is forced to use weapons throughout the fight. These include a pair of submachine guns and a sword.
Dual Submachine Guns[]
Fairchild joins the fight with six Palekana Zealots after the second wave of enemies have been defeated. Many of his attacks in this phase can hit multiple party members and deal large amounts of damage. His moveset includes the following:
- Guns Ablaze — rapidly firing a barrage of bullets at a single target.
- Mercy Shot — firing a barrage of bullets while turning left, right, left again, and right again.
- Threshing Floor - a downward diagonal left double gun-grip swing and a right push kick before firing a barrage of bullets.
- Massacre — opening fire in front of himself before holding his arms by his sides and making a 360° turn.
- Hellfire's Beckoning — throwing out a large cluster of bombs around himself and detonating them.
Sword[]
Fairchild picks up a Palekana sword after being disarmed by Kasuga, when his health has been depleted to 10%. However, he completely lacks any experience with a blade, and he can only use two attacks:
- Toying with Lives — a downward diagonal left slash, a downward diagonal right slash to the right, and a downward diagonal left slash to the left.
- Cut Loose - a downward slash and an upward slash.
