The Ebisu Socks (恵比寿の足袋, Ebisu no Tabi), also known as the Socks of Fortune, are a recurring accessory item in Yakuza series first introduced in Yakuza 4.

— Item descriptionThe more you walk in these strange socks, the more your money will multiply. They don't appear to have any effect in combat.
The Ebisu Socks can be acquired by spending CP (Completion Points) in Bob's shop.
When equipped, the Ebisu Socks will play a sound effect whenever activated. After one full step in a movement cycle is made, every subsequent step taken while walking or running continuously will generate ¥100. Making a full stop causes the socks' effect to reset, requiring a full step to be taken to reactivate it before continuing to walk/run.
