A Goodbye Promise is the 54th substory in Yakuza Kiwami. Yui at JeweL needs to have her affection raised to rank Rank A, and needs to be taken out at least once. After that, she will send Kiryu a call/mail to start the substory.
Yui's affection does not rise if expensive items are bought or gifts are given.
Plot[]
Yui asks Kiryu to meet her at Theatre Square. She takes him to see a movie, visit a purikura, and have tea at a café. When Kiryu mentions expecting to take her to a high-class area, she replies she wants to have an enjoyable date rather then use her customers to foot her bills.
Back at JeweL, Yui recounts the man who passed by when Kiryu first took her on an after-hours date. She says he was the first man to request her and had spent a large sum of money on her, but quickly moved on when he found a more attractive hostess. This caused Yui to not want to fall in love regardless of how much a customer spent on her. After this, the two head to a love hotel and Yui asks him to request her soon.
