Bowling Battle is the 25th substory in Yakuza Kiwami. It replaces Ex-Baseball Player in Yakuza.
Plot[]
At Mach Bowl, Kiryu is challenged to a game of bowling by a mysterious man who claims to be a former pro player. Kiryu will receive ¥30.000 if he wins, but if he loses, he has to forfeit ¥10.000.
Walkthrough[]
To complete this substory, all Kiryu needs to do is win one game of three-frame bowling against the former pro player. He is quite skilled, and he rarely misses, so Kiryu should aim for as many strikes as possible. If failed, the substory can be attempted as many times as needed, but Kiryu will need to forfeit 10.000 yen for each loss, so after the fourth try, it stops being profitable. As such, it's recommended to save before attempting the substory.
After winning, the former pro player will ask Kiryu if he wants to go pro, but it doesn't matter which dialogue option is chosen. After that, Kiryu will earn 30.000 yen and experience points.
