Kazuya Ayabe (綾部 和也, Ayabe Kazuya) is a character featured in Judgment. He is an officer in the Organized Crime Unit of Kamurocho's local police and a "dirty cop" who sells information on investigations for his own benefit.

Ayabe has long and extremely scruffy hair. His attire consists of an olive green trenchcoat over standard office outfit.
Personality[]

Ayabe, though rather sneaky and conniving, is intelligent and good at his job; both as a detective and as an informant.

Ayabe helps Takayuki Yagami with some investigations.
While on a stroll, Ayabe is knocked unconscious, during which his gun is stolen and used by the Mole. After the murder of Masamichi Shintani, he is kept close to Mitsuru Kuroiwa at all times to stop him from becoming too suspicious. Ayabe is framed for Shintani's murder, as the rifling on the bullet that killed Shintani was traced back to Ayabe.
He is proven innocent during his trial, which is used to expose the conspiracy behind AD-9.
