It involves a girl who has apparently gone back in time by one year to try and stop her father from having an accident which ended his marriage and caused him to fall into despair.
Trivia[]
- The name and premise of the substory are a direct reference to the 2006 anime film The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, which was likewise about a teenage girl that acquires the power to leap backward in time.
- The girl's outfit of a tweed suit and bow tie is an allusion to The Doctor from BBC Sci-fi series Doctor Who.
