Mitsuo Yasumura (安村 光雄, Yasumura Mitsuo) is a supporting character in Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and a major supporting character in Ryu Ga Gotoku Online. He is a member of the Arakawa Family.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon: 2000-2019[]
Mitsuo joins Ichiban Kasuga on a collections run where they take money from Hirotaka Ushio for selling misleading VHS tapes. Ushio had earned enough money to reach their collections quota, but Kasuga orders Mitsuo to return the money to everyone who bought from Ushio, which he does so reluctantly, looking for each specific buyer.
Worried over being punished by Jo Sawashiro for not meeting quota, Mitsuo urges Kasuga to find their next target: Koji Hiratsuka, who had borrows 500,000 yen but did not pay back any of it. The two confront Hiratsuka, but Kasuga insists on fighting him alone. He sees that Hiratsuka had money, but Kasuga throws it on the floor and takes the wallet. When asking him why, Kasuga replies that Hiratsuka needs money for his sick mother, and that they were only ordered to "take his wallet." Kasuga then leaves to accompany Masato Arakawa and Mitsuo chooses to wait for his return.
At night, Mitsuo calls Kasuga and they report back to Sawashiro. He is surprised to see there is money present, but Sawashiro catches on to Kasuga's scheme and punishes both of them. The next day, Mitsuo receives a puzzling call from Kasuga where he is asked his age and told to live his best, later learning Kasuga had turned himself in to take the fall for murdering a Sakaki Family yakuza.
Mitsuo becomes aware of the details regarding Daigo Dojima and Arakawa's plan to dissolve the Tojo Clan and Omi Alliance, and follows the rest of the Arakawa Family into the Omi Alliance. In 2019, Mitsuo goes to Isezaki Ijincho while keeping a low profile. He learns that Tianyou Zhao has been captured during a coup in the Yokohama Liumang. He frees Zhao, and asks to brings Kasuga to him. Mitsuo tells Kasuga that Arakawa is going to make a big move and will need allies soon. Some days later, he calls Kasuga to Sotenbori in order to aid Arakawa.
Calling Kasuga to inform him of the next step, Mitsuo is surprised to learn that Kasuga arrived at the Omi Alliance Headquarters far ahead of schedule, and Kasuga's restlessness prompts Mitsuo to tell him of Arakawa being in the Dragon Chamber with three guests. After Kasuga meets with Arakawa, Mitsuo is surprised to learn he and his party fought Goro Majima and Taiga Saejima. The next day, he greets Masaru Watase when he returns from prison ahead of dissolution of the Tojo Clan and the Omi Alliance.
Mitsuo attends the funeral for Masumi and Masato Arakawa alongside the other ex-Tojo and ex-Omi officers, intending to join their security company in Osaka afterward.
