Yakuza 3[]
The Golden Pistol appears to be based on the SIG Sauer P230WP. It can be obtained from Bob Utsunomiya on Tenkaichi Street as a reward for completing all substories throughout the game.
On the rooftop of Touto University Hospital, Yoshitaka Mine brandishes his own Golden Pistol with the intention of killing the then-comatose Daigo Dojima as an act of mercy, before turning it on Kazuma Kiryu in a fit of rage. When Daigo awakens from his coma, he uses said pistol to shoot and kill the members of Black Monday and injure their leader, Andre Richardson.
Yakuza 4[]
The Golden Pistol can be obtained from Bob Utsunomiya at Naomi's Palace after fulfilling all completion tasks relating to minigames. As a gun weapon, it can only be equipped by either Kiryu or Taiga Saejima.
Yakuza: Dead Souls[]
The Golden Pistol is craftable at Kamiyama Works after getting every partner to max level. The award for doing so is 'The Secret Tojo Clan Fortune', the recipe for the gun in question.
Yakuza 5[]
The Golden Pistol can be acquired from any convenience store after completing all substories in the game.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Ishin![]
Named the Golden Gun in this title, it can be purchased from the Gambling Den in Rakugai for the price of 100,000 points. The pistol possesses the Profit seal, which increases the odds of enemies dropping bags of money upon being defeated.
During the secret boss fight, Amon Genjosai wields his own Golden Gun when he switches to his Wild Dancer fighting style.
Unlike in previous titles, the weapon's appearance in Ishin! is based on the Model 2 revolver that Sakamoto Ryoma is given as his default pistol. This version is used in both Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami.
Yakuza 0[]
The Golden Pistol can be purchased by Kiryu from the CP Shrine in Kamurocho or the CP Temple at Sotenbori at the final chapter, at the cost of 40 Completion Points. It is the last item in the "Battle" category and will not be available until all prior items have been purchased. Due to being a weapon, it cannot be deposited in the shared item box for Goro Majima to use, nor can it be traded for his Golden Shotgun.
Yakuza Kiwami[]
The Golden Pistol is available for purchase from Bob Utsunomiya for 30 Completion Points, and cannot be bought until after acquiring all prior items.
