Hinata Osaki (桜咲 ひなた, Ōsaki Hinata) is one of Kazuma Kiryu's hostess in Yakuza 5. She works at Shun Akiyama's Club Elise in Kamurocho.

Background[]
Born-and-raised in Saitama Prefecture. When she first met Kiryu, it is her first shift, thus fulfilling her grade-school dream of being a hostess. She used to be a frequent guest in a karaoke bar. She likes liver sashimi, which suits her because she hinted that she is anemic. She also likes shellfish snacks. She dislikes vegetables, but drinks vegetable juice. As she is a deep sleeper, she tends to stay standing in her hour-long commute from Saitama to Kamurocho. That said, it keeps her disciplined because her university is close to home, which would cause her to oversleep.
She also goes to tea classes, so she is aware that tea containing high tannins would make her anemic, but she likes it more than coffee. She wants to become a tea connoisseur. She decides to work for re-licensing fee, as she crashed her friends borrow car. Although another client payed off the damages for her, she is yet to have her license reinstated.
Appearance[]
Being being 160cm (on the dot), her legs are long for her height at 82cm. She has red hair that is just past shoulder-length. Her dress is a strapless red dress with black lacy trim and darker red strap below the ribcage. Accessory-wise, she has three bracelets, two necklaces and a tiara.
Personality[]
Despite her great looks and being a good conversationalist, her training took a long time due to her difficult personality, which stems from her having clear preference and sharp comebacks. She dislikes being mistreated and men asking invasive questions. she also dislikes demanding and possessive people. She is also not into gossips and TMI's despite liking the attention.
She loves karaoke, but Club Elise's karaoke system is off-limits except for special events and holidays. She also likes to clean and would wave a large banknote to hail taxi, even when drivers are supposed to charged by the meter. She also has an acquired taste in liking raw liver snacks.
She likes being doted on, yet only prefers platonic relationships. She also isn't keen on gossip and TMI, even though she likes the attention.
Involvement[]
Yakuza 5: 2012[]
While on a date with Kiryu, Hinata spots Aimi on a date outside Millennium Tower and learn Aimi has been sleeping with her clients, which is a sackable offense.
When Hinata is on a date with another client, she asks Kiryu for help. Afterwards, she slowly realizes that she has fallen for Kiryu and offered to sleep with Kiryu, but he refuses. After she kisses him, she finds out that Aimi has been fired and becomes no. 1 host on her own merit.
