In the Il Yu Jin missions (Yakuza 2)/"A Whirlwind Dirt Tour (Yakuza Kiwami 2), Kiryu shows Il around Kamurocho's various sights.

Yakuza 3Edit

Il-Yu Jin's poster is seen in Kiryu's first Revelation, where an elderly moped rider inadvertently does a backflip after she is distracted by his handsomeness. Later on, in the Kamurocho substory "Il in Theater Square", Il is signing autographs. Kiryu goes to get an autograph of his on behalf of a fan. Il says he recognizes Kiryu, and Kiryu likewise remembers him. Then, a bunch of yakuza show up and threaten to kidnap Il. This starts a fight, in which Il himself is an AI partner. Afterwards, the fans are all very impressed by Il's fighting prowess.
