Kiminobu Hiyoshi (日吉 公信, Hiyoshi Kiminobu) is a character featured in Yakuza Kiwami.

Background[]

Hiyoshi was a doctor who worked at Touto University Hospital. Due to his gambling habits, he amassed a debt of ¥30 million, which he sought to pay off using his profession.

Involvement[]

Yakuza Kiwami: 1996[]

Yuko Nishikiyama is under his care. When her odds of survival are determined to be low, Akira Nishikiyama states he will do anything to save her. Hiyoshi says he can find an organ donor for her heart surgery, but Nishikiyama will need to amass ¥30 million as payment. When Hiyoshi receives ¥30 million, he gives the money to Matsushige to pay off his debts, then resigns from Touto Hospital and runs far away.

A few years after Yuko's death, Hiyoshi is gambling in an underground casino owned by a Chinese Triad and is accused of cheating when he is found by Nishikiyama. Hiyoshi recognizes him and is terrified, but Nishikiyama assures him he is here to help him leave Japan and start a new life. The Triad members that were chasing him down for cheating are repelled and Hiyoshi is taken to a wharf, where Nishikiyama reveals he is actually selling the former doctor to organ brokers. Hiyoshi's body is appraised to be worth ¥30 million, and the brokers take him away.
