Kineicho (錦栄町, Kin'eichō) is an area of Nagoya, Chūbu in Yakuza 5. It is based on part of the real-life Nishiki district (), which is just north of the Sakae () district in Nagoya's Naka-ku (central ward). This is where the characters for Kineicho come from; the third character simply means a district or small town.

History[]

Tatsuo Shinada moved to a small, cheap apartment in Kineicho after his professional baseball career with the Nagoya Wyverns was cut short in 1997.
