Background[]
Due to being the daughter of a yakuza patriarch, Kyoka was shunned growing up, and spent most of her childhood without friends.

Kyoka seeks to leave Kamurocho with Takashi to live a new life. While met with resistance from her father, she is helped by Kazuma Kiryu.
Yakuza 2/Yakuza Kiwami 2: 2006[]
Due to Takashi not being able to make enough money, Kyoka asks her father for money while still believing in Takashi.
Yakuza 4: 2010[]
Kyoka, pregnant with Takashi's child, becomes engaged to him. Her having a family to invite to the wedding leads Takashi into tracking down his own.
