Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (龍が如く8外伝 Pirates in Hawaii, Ryū Ga Gotoku 8 Gaiden: Pirates in Hawaii, lit. "Like a Dragon 8 Side Story: Pirates in Hawaii") is an upcoming action-adventure spin-off of the Like a Dragon (formerly Yakuza) series for the PlayStation 4WP, PlayStation 5WP, Xbox OneWP, Xbox Series X/SWP, and Microsoft WindowsWP.
Release and Marketing[]
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii was first announced during RGG Summit 2024 on September 20, which was streamed live on both RGG Studio's and SEGA's official YouTube channels, with an announced release date of February 28, 2025. During the Xbox Partner Preview Event in October 2024, the release date was updated to February 21, 2025.
