The Morning Glory Beach, known as Sunshine Beach in the original localized versions of Yakuza 3 to 5, is a location in Yakuza 3 and is located just opposite the Morning Glory Orphanage.[1]

History[]

Yakuza 3[]

Kazuma Kiryu and the Morning Glory orphans come to the beach occasionally, whether it's to play or to talk away from the others. Kiryu wrestles with Rikiya Shimabukuro in a makeshift fighting ring constructed on the beach.

Kiryu can fish and also does his weapon training with Shoji Yonashiro here.

Yakuza 4[]

Taiga Saejima washes up on the beach after escaping from Okinawa Penitentiary No. 2. Later, he fights Kiryu to try and get his assistance.

When Goh Hamazaki ends up at the orphanage, Haruka runs off to the beach and tries to convince Kiryu to not leave for Kamurocho when he comes for her.

Yakuza 5[]

In a flashback, Kiryu has a chat with Haruka over the reasons as to why he is leaving the orphanage.

Yakuza 6[]

While unconscious from his wounds, Kiryu has a dream where he is on the beach with the people important to him he met over the years.

One night, Haruka goes to the beach alone and looks at social media, learning that she poses a threat to the orphans' futures after she revealed her yakuza ties.
