だけどなぜだろう
この人だけは違う
そう思えた
ネオン街が二人照らす
運命さえ信じられる
「女」

時に悩み 共に紡ぐ

「男」
俺の孤独な心に咲いた、
一輪の、お前という名の雪月花。
ネオン眩しい神室町。

English Translated Lyrics
This is a literal English translation of the song that completely preserves the tone and connotations in the original Japanese lyrics but is not necessarily singable.
[Part 1: Karaoke Version]
[Instrumental]
[Verse 1: Male Singer]
ah, I don't believe it
this woman has a hidden side
tonight I'll drown her in riches
to earn my way into her heart
[Verse 2: Female Singer]
is he playing around?
i don't believe it
this man
can be so fickle
[Pre-Chorus: Male & Female]
but why then
when I'm with you
does it feel so different?
[Chorus: Male, Female, Male & Female]
neon city lights shine on the two of us
might it be fate?
is it for show?
no, it's real
is it a lie?
it's not
love cannot be stopped
sometimes we laugh
sometimes we lose our way
sometimes we worry together
spinning our tale
with you
and you, too
our Kamurocho love story
(in my lonely heart bloomed)
(you, a solitary, beautiful flower)
(dazzling neon Kamurocho)
(this tale we've spun together)
(let's call it "pure love in Kamurocho")
Singable English Lyrics
This English translation of the song is fully singable. Its lyrics have been adapted to include Western cultural references and expressions while still retaining as much of the original song's sensitivity as possible.
[Part 1: Karaoke Version]
[Instrumental]
[Verse 1: Male Singer]
Ah, I don't believe it
My love, she has a darker side
She'll spread her wings, into the night
For some other man in sight, isn't that right?
[Verse 2: Female Singer]
This has to be a joke, I don't believe it
My love, he has another sweetheart
[Pre-Chorus: Male & Female]
But now it's time to move on
I've found a brand-new someone, things'll be
different from now on
[Chorus: Male, Female, Male & Female]
The neon city lights shine 'pon our rendezvous
Weaving a destiny, for only me and you
Is this a lie?
It's the truth
Some kind of joke?
Not funny
You're the only one for me
Together smiling, together wandering
Together pondering, together through and through
Will you be mine?
I'm all yours
Kamurocho's purest love story
[Outro: MALE, spoken]
(The flower growing in my lonely heart)
(blossoms beneath your light.)
(This neon city shines,)
(bright as our love.)
(Now together let's write Kamurocho's purest love story.)

Trivia
- In the Japanese versions of Yakuza 4 and Dead Souls, there is a discrepancy between the words sung vs the lyrics on-screen: instead of 女 ("onna," meaning "woman"), the kanji 嬢 ("jō") is shown (referring to an unmarried woman, but specifically a hostess within this context). Also, instead of 男 ("otoko," meaning "man"), the kanji for "customer," 客 ("kyaku") is shown.
