Shinji Sakamoto (坂本 信司, Sakamoto Shinji) is a major supporting character in Kurohyou 2: Ryu ga Gotoku Ashura-hen. He is a young street fighter, and a member of a small group of Dragon Heat fighters; along with Tamotsu Saito, Yuta Mikami, and the leader Makoto Yashiro.

Shinji is as tall as Tatsuya and similarly built.
Attire[]
In his introduction cutscene, Shinji is seen wearing a repairman's overalls. In all other scenes he wears a dark blue jacket, blue jeans and and a blue cap.
Personality[]
Shinji is an unsure, waveringly confident teenager. He is easily swayed by whatever catches his fancy, even going so far as to betray Tatsuya and the other boys for an extremely petty reason.
Background[]
Yearning for a fighting partner, he deliberately fights with Asura punks only to be rescued by Tatsuya, who in return invites him to the new Dragon Heat.

Fighting Style[]
Shinji uses the unobtainable Kickboxing style. In Premium Adventure, he is upgraded to level 30. His deathblows are Rolling Elbow and Flying Knee, and his Heat Actions are Muay Thai's standard Heat Actions.
He is also playable in Tournament Mode.
