Template:Character infobox Sota Kume (久米 颯太, Kume Sota) is the leader of Bleach Japan's Yokohama branch. He is a minor antagonist of Yakuza: Like a Dragon. He is dedicated to the organization, and willing to go to drastic measures to ensure that all of Japan's "grey zones" are eradicated.
Appearance
Kume has a noticeably short stature and a side-parted hair.
Attire
When marching against Yokohama's gray zones, Kume wears white Bleach Japan T-shirt over black, long-sleeved T-shirt, a pair of black pants, and a pair of black leather shoes. As a Kanagawa 2nd District candidate, he wears a black suit over white shirt and magenta or blue tie with a pair of black pants and black leather shoes.
Personality
A staunch believer of Bleach Japan's causes, he believes that the protests that he led are for the greater good and seems to have a genuine desire to do good; however, this leads to what appears to be a very black-and-white mindset. He is aggressive in his speaking and extremely snarky, especially shown when he mocked Nonomiya's death while claiming that Otohime Land closed down thanks to "Bleach Japan's tireless efforts", and resorting to calling Ichiban and his party different names when called out.
Background
Although not much is known about his past, Kume has stated that while growing up, he never did a wrong thing, such as never driving over the speed limit. This most likely helped fuel Kume's desire to do good things. Somewhere in between his childhood and the events of Like a Dragon, Ryo Aoki recruited him for Bleach Japan.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon
A branch manager of Bleach Japan, Kume has a blind faith of the organization and does not question Ryo Aoki's true intentions, or the purpose of the organization. His following of the group has led to run-ins with Ichiban and his party.
After learning of Aoki's true identity thanks to the video that Joon-gi Han leaks online, Kume suffers a psychotic breakdown as everything he knows is revealed to be a lie. He tracks Aoki and Ichiban to the coin lockers, and stabs Aoki just before he turns himself in. His whereabouts after the stabbing are unknown.
Trivia
- Kume is the only boss to not be featured in the Sujidex.
- The character of Kume is a mirror image of protagonist Ichiban Kasuga, as they both share the same outspoken, group-oriented personality, and have both had their lives radically changed by Ryo Aoki.
