Stardust (スターダスト, Sutādasuto) is a host/cabaret club located in Kamurocho.
History[]
The club opened at some point between December 1995 and December 2000. Kazuki, the club's owner, tells Kazuma Kiryu that Shintaro Kazama helped him build the club.
Yakuza/Yakuza Kiwami[]
Kazuma Kiryu first finds out about the club after Shintaro Kazama tells him to look for its owner. However, while Kiryu is about to meet Kazuki, he is confronted by Yuya, he taunts Kiryu for trying to threaten the club, then they have a fight and Kiryu wins. Yuya apologizes for not knowing Kiryu has an appointment with Kazuki.
Kazuki then brings Kiryu up to speed on developments within the Tojo Clan, including how Nishikiyama became a treacherous yakuza boss. Suddenly, Shimano's lackeys come to the club and demand protection money, Yuya denies Kazuki to pay them and Kiryu, Kazuki and Yuya fight them. One of them tries to shoot Kiryu but Shinji Tanaka shows up at the nick of time and shoots him.
Stardust is also featured in a substory The Rumored Party (Yakuza Kiwami)
Yakuza 2/Yakuza Kiwami 2[]
The club makes another appearance in a number of occurrences:
- Kazuki was put under police surveillance due to his supposed ties with the Jingweon Mafia.
- Yuya being visited by a number of outlaw bikers in the club in the substory Black Thunder (Yakuza 2)/Embracing My True Self (Yakuza Kiwami 2)
- Yuya calls Kiryu and tells him about one of his staffs, Kenya who signed a petition for preserving the woods of Kamurocho and that is a scam in the substory Kamurocho Forestry Association (Yakuza Kiwami 2)
The club is temporarily managed by Yuya due to Kazuki having to undergo medical treatment at Emoto Clinic.
Yakuza 3[]
Kiryu heads to Stardust for information and runs into Nishikiyama Family captain Hasebe, fighting it out and driving away the Nishikiyama Family after Hasebe's defeat.
The club is featured in a substory where a businessman wanted Kazuki to open a branch of Stardust, which he declined.
Yakuza 4[]
The club is featured in a substory where Kiryu's imposter returned. There, Yuya introduced Kiryu to blogging, enabling Kiryu to catch the imposter.
Yakuza 5[]
Yuya temporarily leaves Stardust to try and regain his motivation after the staff were doing well without him. After an encounter with an incognito Kiryu in Nagasugai, he heads back to Stardust. When Kiryu returns to Kamurocho, he meets Yuya outside the club.
Yakuza 6[]
By December 2016, the club is bought by the Jingweon Mafia. At this point, Yuya resigned and found work as an ordinary salaryman. The Koreans revamp the club by adding a basement which offers more sexualized services. There is also a fighting ring to provide a show for the audience, which is where Kiryu fights Joongi Han for information on Shu Tatsukawa after Yuta Usami tries and fails to do so.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth[]
As of 2023, Kazuki and Yuya are once again in charge of Stardust, presumably reversing the changes made by Joongi Han. The younger hosts are known to look up to the two, despite their age.
