Why is this character page under the category of "Deceased characters"? I've only beaten Yakuza 0, the original Yakuza on the PS2, made it to the end of Kiwami, and have completed roughly the first half of Yakuza 2, and even though I usually avoid reading spoilers for the games I haven't played, I don't ever recall hearing that Kiryu died in Yakuza 6 or any other game. Was this categorization a mistake or is it something else?

Please read and understand Japanese name conventions BEFORE making big page edits like this

This is an English-language website, and the convention for the English speaking of Japanese names referring to people who are currently alive or recently deceased is to put the family name last.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_name#Japanese_names_in_English_and_other_Western_languages

"In English, the names of living or recently deceased Japanese are generally given surname last and without macrons.[25] Historical figures are given surname first and with macrons, if available.[26]"

Therefore, what the characters say as they as they are speaking Japanese is not relevant to an English translation. Not following the convention of Japanese names AS THEY ARE SPOKEN IN ENGLISH creates confusion between whose names are surname first and whose are given name first. At any rate, you should have put this up for discussion on the talk page BEfORE changing the pages over.  Eddiehimself (talk) 17:42, February 6, 2018 (UTC)
