Imagine thinking you know how Japanese names are written from a damn wikipedia page, if you're gonna do that change the other ones so the family name is first, because that's not how it's written and it's very inconsistent.

Why is this character page under the category of "Deceased characters"? I've only beaten Yakuza 0, the original Yakuza on the PS2, made it to the end of Kiwami, and have completed roughly the first half of Yakuza 2, and even though I usually avoid reading spoilers for the games I haven't played, I don't ever recall hearing that Kiryu died in Yakuza 6 or any other game. Was this categorization a mistake or is it something else? Wiseguy700 (talk) 01:17, June 23, 2018 (UTC)

Go finish the games and don't get ahead of yourself. It is perhaps the most suitable category available for Kiryu's status. RyujiGoodA (talk) 07:43, June 23, 2018 (UTC)

I'm with you when it comes to not including simple honorifics as aliases. However, I don't think everyone on the wiki is aware of this, so perhaps add it to the MoS?

Ahh, ok. I know I should go on the discord but I just have problems with social media, as you can probably imagine. Eddiehimself (talk) 19:35, August 7, 2019 (UTC)

Deceased?

I've only beaten Yakuza 0, the original Yakuza on the PS2, made it to the end of Kiwami, and have completed roughly the first half of Yakuza 2, and even though I usually avoid reading spoilers for the games I haven't played, I don't ever recall hearing that Kiryu died in Yakuza 6 or any other game. Honorifics in aliases

I'm with you when it comes to not including simple honorifics as aliases. However, I don't think everyone on the wiki is aware of this, so perhaps add it to the MoS?

We've discussed it in the discord.
