You guys should really add Gaiden and Infinite Wealth at least

More spin-offs not on the page, and "related games"[]

Shouldn't Streets of Kamurocho and Ryu Ga Gotoku Mobile for GREE be added to the spin-offs? I feel like those should be included for sure on the series page.

Also what about games related to the series, either through references, playable characters, etc, such as these games (mostly copied from the "Crossover Wiki" on Fandom):

  • Project X Zone 2: Brave New World (which has Kiryu and Majima playable)
  • Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise (the game is apparently a spin-off of the Yakuza series according to multiple sites and Wikipedia, using the "Dragon Engine" like the recent Yakuza/Like a Dragon games, made by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, and Kazuma Kiryu appears as a downloadable playable character.)
  • Virtua Fighter 5 (the "Yakuza Series Collaboration Pack" contains multiple cosmetics, costumes, music, etc from the Yakuza franchise)
  • Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight (the "P5D: Yakuza Set" contains a few costumes based on the Yakuza franchise)
  • Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania (Kazuma Kiryu is an unlockable playable character, and the bananas are replaced with Staminan X bottles when playing as him)
  • Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational (Kazuma Kiryu appears as a DLC golfer in the Japanese version)
  • Binary Domain (Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, Ryuji Goda, and Shun Akiyama from Yakuza appear as guest characters)
  • Sega Heroes (Goro Majima, Kazuma Kiryu, Shun Akiyama, and Taiga Saejima all appear in the game)
  • Taiko no Tatsujin Portable DX (features a music track from Yakuza: Dead Souls)
  • maimai GreeN (music from Yakuza was added to this version)
  • Kyoutou Kotoba RPG: Kotodaman (a few characters from Yakuza appear during a "Sega All Stars" collaboration)
  • LINE Rangers (a few characters from Yakuza appear in the game)
  • Mafia City (there was a special collaboration with Yakuza in the game)
  • Dragon Poker (characters from Yakuza appear as part of a special collaboration)
  • Boku & Dragons (characters from Yakuza appeared as part of a special collaboration)
  • Phantasy Star Online 2 (outfits based on Kasuga, Majima and Saeko in her Matriarch outfit appears, along with cosmetics from Yakuza)
  • Rainbow Six: Siege (outfits based on Kiryu, Majima and Kaoru and Cosmetics from Yakuza appears)
  • Astro Bot PS5 (Kazuma Kiryu, known as "Tattooed Dragon", appears as one of the "VIP Bots" in the game, along with the "Iconic Gate" accessory referencing the Kamurocho gate, and there is a PlayStation trophy associated with punching him)

I feel like those games could be mentionned on the series page in its own section, since those games all contain content from the Yakuza / Like a Dragon franchise. I don't know what the wiki's policy is for games outside of the franchise getting articles, since only Project X Zone 2 has an article, but I feel like some games could definitely get articles, like that Fist of the North Star game, or the games that has the actual characters playable (like that Super Monkey Ball game or Sega Heroes for example).

Oh also on a separate but similar topic, it's weird that remasters/bundles aren't listed on here, like The Yakuza Remastered Collection, or the Ryū ga Gotoku 1&2 HD EDITION. Remakes and remasters could even fit on a new section with them, like both Kiwami games, or Like a Dragon: Ishin!, or the remastered versions of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, Yakuza 5, and Judgment. To add to this topic, there's also a couple of Pachinko games in the franchise which I completely forgot, like CR Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan!, CR Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan! Tenshou Gion-hen, and Pachislot Ryu ga Gotoku of the End, which are strangely not even on the wiki itself and would fit quite well on the spin-offs section. I also forgot to mention Ryu Ga Gotoku Kizuna which isn't listed but does have a page on the wiki, so that one should also be added to the spin-offs. Metalex123 (talk) 01:33, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
