Tatsuro Mukoda (向田 達郎, Mukōda Tatsurō) is a minor character in Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

Tatsuro is a withered and balding old man.

Background[]
Tatsuro's twin daughters, Saeko Mukoda and Nanoha Mukoda, would not be on good terms due to the hospitalization of his wife. Tatsuro struggled to raise enough money to take care of his wife, prompting Saeko to seek work, and became passive upon learning she earned more then he did. The twins' fights came to a head as they approached adulthood, and his regrets with not helping Nanoha break from Saeko's control peaked.
After the death of his wife and departure of Saeko, Tatsuro raised Nanoha with as much care as he could as a single parent. When his health was declining due to old age, Tatsuro was admitted to Sunlight Castle's "Excellent Area" by Nanoha, who started working tirelessly to ensure her father's last years are peaceful and luxurious, unaware that the Ryuto Family were planning to use him as part of the facility's pension scheme.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon: 2019[]
Moments before he receives a lethal injection of potassium chloride, he is saved by Ichiban Kasuga, Yu Nanba, and Koichi Adachi. Their efforts lead to Sunlight Castle being shut down, and Mamoru Takabe allows its current residents to remain free of charge until other arrangements are made, Tatsuro included. Tatsuro is eventually moved to a proper nursing home.
