Teruhiko Shigaki (志垣 輝彦, Shigaki Teruhiko) is a character featured in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The former patriarch of the Tojo Clan's Shigaki Family, he is now in charge of the yakuza cleaning up the waste on Nele Island in the wake of Bryce's arrest.

Shigaki is modeled after his Japanese actor, Munetaka Aoki, though with unkempt brown hair parted in the middle.
Attire[]
Shigaki wears a blue Hawaiian shirt with a floral, wave and tiger design; a jeweled necklace, a silver bangle on his left wrist, beige pants, and brown leather dress shoes.
Personality[]
At first glance, Shigaki is an amiable man, having apparently gathered together a large chunk of former yakuza with the help of foreign governments to clean up Nele Island's nuclear waste. However, his true purpose is revealed to be finding the lost treasure of Esperanza, a goal that he is desperate to fulfill no matter the cost. Having bet the livelihood of himself and all his fellow yakuza on it, he is willing to go to any lengths to succeed, from kidnapping to even murder if it came to it.
After his ruse is revealed and Majima decides to work with him to make finding the treasure easier, he becomes noticeably more mellow. However, after Raymond Law attempts to extort the Goro Pirates by kidnapping Moana Rich, he gets desperate to the point of threatening his allies to give up the girl so he can get his cut of the treasure. After the ensuing chaos results in him nearly killing Jason Rich, however, he realizes how much his obsession for wealth has corrupted him, and decides to fully pledge himself to Majima as atonement.
He does not hold Rodriguez in high regard, viewing him as a troublesome meddler even after their truce. However, he does eventually warm up to him, enough to offer condolences for him after his father's passing.

Fighting Style[]
Shigaki has two boss fights in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, bolstered by a large horde of yakuza in both. He uses a katana in his first encounter, and a tantō in the second. He emits a light blue aura in Heat Mode.
Katana[]
When wielding a katana, Shigaki uses the one-handed sword enemies' moveset from Ryu Ga Gotoku Kenzan!, with the addition of Yutaka Yamai's Taste Steel attack from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
For his Ultimate Attack, he grips his sword with both hands and performs a jumping downward slash.
Tantō[]
Shigaki uses Kanji Koshimizu's knife moveset in his when wielding his.
For his Ultimate Attack, he grasp his right wrist before charging at Majima to stab him in the abdomen.
