True Bonds (絆, Kizuna, Lit. "Bonds") is the 39th substory in Yakuza 6.
Plot[]
With their most recent victory, the Setouchi Warriors have finally earned the right to face off against the Kanamizawa Gorgeous. A haughty Kanamizawa decides to taunt the Warriors ahead of the match, feeling they stand no chance of victory.
After the Warriors win, Kanamizawa is in disbelief that his team of world-class players assembled with his riches has lost to such a team. Chiba states it is because of their bond; Kiryu whipped them into shape and assembled a close-knit roster to achieve victory. With Kanamizawa humbled, he makes good on his promise to not buy the baseball field, but promises to come back stronger and challenge the Warriors to a rematch in due time.
Chiba thanks Kiryu for helping them win, while Kiryu thanks the Warriors for the experience. To celebrate, the Warriors decide to throw Kiryu into the air, with the Jingai Thunders joining them. On the last cheer, they accidentally drop Kiryu.
