The Yoshida Batting Center (吉田バッティングセンター Yoshida Battingu Sentā), also known as the Yoshida Batting Cage, is located in Kamurocho's Hotel District. It is the location for the Batting Cages minigame.

History[]

The Yoshida Batting Center is a fixture of Kamurocho that has existed as far back as 1985.[1] The rules of the Batting Center's games and the configuration of the scoring panels has changed over the years, but the building itself has been a constant for decades.

Yakuza/Yakuza Kiwami[]

Kazuma Kiryu first meets The Florist of Sai's son Takashi and his girlfriend Kyoka in the Yoshida Batting Center. Later on, Kiryu fights Goro Majima in order to get Haruka Sawamura back.

Yakuza 4[]

Goro Majima and Taiga Saejima battle in the Yoshida Batting Center, a place they used to visit prior to reuniting.

Yakuza 5[]

Majima has Saejima fight off the Majima Family in order to test him before his imprisonment.

Yakuza: Dead Souls[]

Goro Majima and Shun Akiyama have a boss fight against Tsuchigumo Prototype here. There is a baseball launcher located just south of the Batting Center that the player character can use to kill zombies.
