Yukari Akuta (芥 ゆかり, Akuta Yukari) is a character featured in Lost Judgment. She is a teacher at Seiryo High School and advisor to its Robotics Club.

Profile[]

Personality[]

While she is the advisor to the Robotics Club, she looks down on robotics and sees the robots as toys which students will eventually move on from.

Background[]

Akuta was opposed to letting the Seiryo Robotics Club enter the RE Robo Rally because she felt they were not up to par for the competition, and feared having a sponsor would make them be mocked if they lost, which created tension between them. Additionally, due to the late nights the club worked with Okitegawa as president, Akuta was forced into unpaid overtime.

Lost Judgment: 2021[]

The Robotics Club receives an outside counselor, Takayuki Yagami, without Akuta knowing about it. She meets him outside the club room, and asks to have a chat in the cafeteria, where she explains why there is tension between her and the club, as well as telling him Okitegawa secured a sponsorship from a Tokyo shopping district.

Akuta is later told by police officers of a thieving robot whose description matches a design she had previously seen in the Robotics Club's locked cabinet. She goes to confront them with this information and asks them to disband the club and discard the blueprints if they do not want her to tell the police of what she saw, which Yagami notes is tampering with evidence. Because he is a former lawyer, Akuta is unable to properly respond and leaves.

She discovers that Okitegawa's Tokyo sponsor had already cut off their funding, and sees a picture on Chatter of the thieving robot, which is connected to a group called the "Knee Okay-something Gang" selling stolen wares, and has a bolt only Seiryo High has available due to buying them in bulk from a factory that closed down. After three members resign, Akuta decides to confront Okitegawa and put the club on temporary hiatus.

All the club members reunite and ask Akuta to not disband the club, with Okitegawa telling her his source of funding was his father, but she refuses because she does not want more trouble. Okitegawa gets on the floor to plead her to reconsider, causing another teacher to ask what she is doing. This causes Akuta to be pressured into not disbanding the club.

  1. The given height of 160 cm (5′ 3″) is based on the character model's scaling factor within Lost Judgment's data.[1] For Dragon Engine games, this method is believed to be very accurate (±2 cm). However, this is intended as an estimate, not a substitute for an official statistic.
